Job Description
Life at Fulton Hogan is about making the most of opportunities, taking responsibility, and making it happen. We appreciate our peoples’ courage, curiosity and unique perspectives, and look to collaborate as much as possible to explore safer, smarter and more efficient ways of working in this rapidly changing world. We don’t stand still – there are always opportunities to do more and do better.
What’s on offer?
We are looking to fill the role of a National Injury Management Advisor, and you will have the option to be based in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane. Reporting to the National Workcover & Injury Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting and advising on effective injury management and the return-to-work process.
In this role, you will provide meaningful and regular reports to management to raise awareness of claims risk and identify risk mitigation opportunities. You’ll conduct regular training and workshops, develop ongoing strategies for injury management, streamline processes within the IMS, and oversee claims to insurers to ensure full entitlements are obtained for employees and Fulton Hogan.
Occasional travel across Australia will be required to provide injury management support to our business.
What will you be responsible for?
How you’ll connect to the role?
We’re looking for someone with approximately 5 years of experience in workers compensation claims and rehabilitation management. Relevant qualifications in this space will be highly regarded. Your expertise in the administration of workers compensation placements and strong knowledge of Australian Workers Compensation legislation will set you up for success in this role.
In addition to your technical expertise, you possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to effectively convey complex information to stakeholders at all levels. Your relationship-building abilities allow you to cultivate strong, productive relationships with colleagues, executives, and external service providers.
You’ll bring an analytical and detail-oriented approach to ensure every aspect of injury management is thoroughly covered. Handling sensitive injury cases with empathy and patience, ensuring employee well-being is prioritised, is one of your key strengths. Additionally, you thrive in dynamic environments and have the adaptability to handle changing priorities with ease.
We’re looking for someone who is eager to embrace challenges and ready to contribute to our collective success.
If you're ready to join a team that values your expertise, rewards your efforts, and supports your professional development, we'd love to hear from you.
